Who is responsible for data processing?

All processing of your personal data carried out through the Websites is performed by Panzani (a simplified joint-stock company with a share capital of 3,585,180 euros, registered with the Lyon Trade and Companies Register under number 961 503 422, whose registered office is located at 141 cours Gambetta, 69003 Lyon). 
Panzani acts as the data controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).

Panzani collects and processes the following personal data:

As part of our recruitment activities, we collect and process personal data relating to candidates:
name, first name, email address, postal address, telephone number, personal data contained in CVs and cover letters, diplomas, professional qualifications, as well as residence permits, work authorizations, and visas for foreign candidates.

As part of the organization of contests, we collect and process personal data relating to participants:
name, first name, email address, postal address, connection and usage data of Panzani services (IP address, device type, browser type and version), telephone number, and ageofmajority status.

As part of managing online accounts used to obtain discount coupons, we collect and process personal data relating to account holders:
name, first name, email address, postal address, connection and usage data of Panzani services (IP address, device type, browser type and version), telephone number, ageofmajority status, and login credentials (usernames and passwords).

As part of handling requests and complaints addressed to Panzani, we collect and process personal data relating to the individuals submitting such requests:
name, first name, email address, postal address, telephone number, circumstances and consequences of the consumption of a product, and details of the alleged incident.

As part of processing requests to exercise datasubject rights, we collect and process personal data relating to the individual making the request:
name, first name, identity document where applicable, and any data provided by the individual in their request.

What is the purpose of the collected and processed data?

Personal data is collected and processed for the following purposes and on the following legal bases: 

  • Recruitment management: analysis of received applications, checks and procedures relating to the administrative status of foreign candidates, and retention of recruitment data (including CVs)
     Precontractual measures, legal obligation, and candidate consent. 
  • Management of contest participation
     Contractual measures and Panzani’s legitimate interest in preventing fraud. 
  • Creation and management of accounts to obtain discount coupons
     Contractual measures and Panzani’s legitimate interest in ensuring account administration and monitoring. 
  • Processing of requests and complaints addressed to Panzani
     Panzani’s legitimate interest and legal obligation. 
  • Processing of requests to exercise datasubject rights regarding their personal data
     Legal obligation.
How long do we keep your personal data?

Your personal data is retained for the following periods, determined according to the purpose pursued by Panzani at the time of collection: 

Personal data processed as part of our recruitment activities is retained as follows: 

  • For successful candidates: for the entire duration of the recruitment process and throughout their employment with Panzani. 
  • For unsuccessful candidates: for the duration of the recruitment process and: 
  • 3 months after the end of the recruitment process, in order to provide explanations regarding the rejection of their application; 
  • with their consent, for 2 years from the last contact. 

Personal data processed as part of contest organization is retained for a maximum of 3 years after the last contact from the data subject. It may then be stored in intermediate archives for a maximum of 5 years, in accordance with applicable limitation periods. 

Personal data processed as part of managing online accounts used to obtain discount coupons is retained for a maximum of 2 years from the last login. After this period, the account is deleted. The data may then be stored in intermediate archives for a maximum of 5 years, in accordance with applicable limitation periods. 

Personal data processed as part of handling requests and complaints is retained for a maximum of 3 years after the last contact from the data subject. It may then be stored in intermediate archives for 5 years, or 10 years from the date the damage is consolidated in the event of bodily injury. 

Personal data processed as part of handling requests to exercise datasubject rights is retained for 6 years from the date of the request. 

Who receives your personal data? Who has access to it?

Your personal data is shared, depending on the purpose of the processing, with: 

  • the relevant Panzani departments (e.g., quality department, marketing department, etc.); 
  • Panzani’s partners involved in achieving the stated purposes. 

Your personal data may be transferred to Panzani subsidiaries, processors, or partners located outside the European Union. In such cases, processing will only occur if the third country is deemed to provide an adequate level of protection, or, failing that, if the transfer is governed in accordance with GDPR requirements. 

What are your rights regarding your personal data?

You have the right to access, rectify, and erase your data, the right to restrict processing, and the right to define instructions regarding the retention, deletion, and communication of your personal data after your death. 

You may object to the processing of your data.
You may also withdraw your consent for any processing based on consent.
